one beautiful thing about the mac os x: you can look up the definition of any word in the dictionary, as long as it appears in a document style, like a web page in safari, a mail message in mail, word or text documents in word:mac or textedit etc. let's see:
 let's look up the contextual definition for the word "conincidently"...
 i press ���+ctrl+D and viola! the contextual definitions show up nicely in a small box. i could also ask it to display the thesaurus instead.
of course the main dictionary app is available, which allows you to browse neatly and search for words in the oxford dictionary & thesaurus. so, don't say that the mac is for design freaks. lols.
